The Board

Ingrid Williams
Chairperson

Ingrid is an experienced board chair and has held various board roles for nearly 20 years.

Ingrid is a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and INSEAD.

Ingrid has accumulated over 30 years of experience in the health services sector and has held senior executive roles in both public and private hospitals. She has been the CEO and business owner of aged care businesses and is currently the managing director of her advisory consulting business, supporting the health and aged care sector across Australia.

Ingrid has a Master’s in Health Administration (MHA), a Bachelor of Educational Studies and a Diploma of Business.


Dr Peter Hughes
Managing Director and CEO

Peter Hughes has over 25 years of extensive international business experience in the development and management of complex, multi-faceted business functions and large-scale organisations.

Peter has held line management responsibilities in both publicly listed and private enterprises and has previously initialised and founded a global health operating division for a major Australian public company.

Peter is a globally recognised expert in the design, development and operation of primary, sub-acute and acute healthcare systems and infrastructure and is a sought-after speaker and educator who holds undergraduate degrees in both environmental science and architecture and postgraduate qualifications including an MBA and a DBA.

Peter is the primary Founder of the business and will develop and implement the organisational strategy and assume the lead operational role (non-clinical) in the implementation and deployment of the Kikada Lane Dental support services offerings.


Ghazaleh Lyari
Non-Executive Director

Ghazaleh Lyari is the Co-Head of Investments at the Australian Business Growth Fund (ABGF), and a member of ABGF’s Investment Committee.

Ghazaleh’s career spans almost three decades, with a diverse set of experiences in the technology Industry, Investment banking on Wall Street and Silicon Valley, entrepreneurship, and in Private Equity, investing in and supporting SMEs across a broad range of industry sectors in Australia.

Ghazaleh graduated from the University of NSW with a Bachelor of Science – double majors in Computer Science and Physics. She subsequently obtained an MBA from The Kellogg Graduate School of Management, at Northwestern University, Chicago.

Ghazaleh is currently a director on the boards of Kikada Lane Dental and Aviation Training Holdings.

She is also a National Ambassador for Heads Over Heels, a not-for-profit organisation supporting female entrepreneurs.


Greg Hughes
Non-Executive Director

Greg is a driven executive with an excellent commercial skillset.

Greg has successfully managed ASX listed companies, private equity backed organisations as well as family owned enterprises.

He has held executive level positions for the last 15 years with major companies including Mars Incorporated, Sakata Rice Snacks, Freedom Foods, and Dymocks Group. He has lived and worked in Australia, SE Asia and the USA.

Greg is currently the CEO of Farm Foods a family owned business in the regional city of Geelong and is a non-executive Director of both Gateways Support Services, (a major NDIS service provider) and the Geelong Manufacturing Council.

Greg served as both Chair and head of Finance on a number of private school boards before relocating to the Bellarine in mid-2018. Greg has a strong passion for building great cultures, enterprise value and success. Greg holds territory qualifications in Education (DipT) from ACU in Melbourne.


Peter Nathan
Non-Executive Director

Peter was one of the three core founders of the a2 Milk Company, which grew from sales of $7m to $1.3B as the brand was globalised during his leadership over his 14-year tenure.

His most recent position before resigning from the Company was CEO Asia Pacific.

Prior to that role, Peter held senior marketing and sales roles for Gillette and Colgate Palmolive in Australia and Asia, as well as his involvement with Freedom Foods Group Limited as General Manager.

Peter’s interests are in the development of high growth companies.


Senior Management

Michael Dacres-Mannings
Chief Operating Officer

Michael is responsible for the daily operations at Kikada Lane Dental, including all owned subsidiaries.

Michael manages the Human Resources, Business Development, IT and Marketing teams at Kikada Lane Dental.

Michael works closely with Peter to ensure operational performance and risk management and has oversight of departmental budgets.


Karl Marketing Kikada Lane

Carl Burroughs
Director of Marketing

Carl is responsible for the marketing strategies engaged for each individual Kikada Lane Dental practice together with the corporate marketing needs of Kikada Lane head office.

With over 21 years of experience in the dental profession, Carl has a proven track record of ensuring dental practices get the marketing support they need to achieve their individual goals.

Under Carl’s management, Kikada Lane utilises a proprietary approach to localised marketing and advertising, which both attracts new patients to Kikada Lane dental practices whilst also concentrating on educating and retaining existing patients.

Involved with Kikada Lane since its inception, Carl’s deep understanding of the dental profession and how to successfully run dental practices has been invaluable to the group. However, it is the marketing portfolio that is Carl’s true passion.


Alison Sutherland
Alison Sutherland – HR Manager 

Alison is responsible for all aspects of people & culture at Kikada Lane Dental Head Office and its Dental Practices, acting as a trusted advisor at the executive level and to site-based Practice Principals/Practice Managers.

Alison ensures that the company’s strategic HR vision is delivered to staff at all levels.

Employee engagement and organisational health is also an important focus of the role.

Other key activities include management of employment contracts, Staff performance management and training requirements.


Patrick Dennis
Financial Controller

With fifteen years of Health sector experience, most recently at Zenitas Healthcare overseeing the Finance function for 60+ Healthcare Clinics, Patrick manages all financial functions of Kikada Lane Dental, its subsidiaries and affiliated entities.

Patrick heads up the Finance Team, which oversees all payroll, accounts payable and accounting activities.

Patrick leads the monthly reporting cycle, providing monthly management reports to all dental practices as well as the preparation of consolidated financial reports for the Board.  


Kelli Hughes
Transition and Recruitment Manager

Kelli’s role includes many core activities, including the following.

The transition of new practices pre and post-settlement regarding all employee and practice operational transition at settlement.

Training with Practice Managers on the use of systems and SharePoint.

Recruitment support for all practices with respect to support staff and clinical resourcing.

Management of the Information Technology supplier to Kikada Lane and monitoring practices needs with respect to ongoing maintenance and improvements.


Betty Tylis
Office Manager / EA to MD & COO

Betty is an experienced senior Executive Assistant providing support to the Kikada Lane Senior Management Team and Board.

Betty is also responsible for the management of the day-to-day administrative operations of the Kikada Lane Head Office.

With a proven record of accomplishment in the areas of high-level executive support, travel event organisation and general office operations, Betty previously held a senior Executive Assistant role with The a2 Milk Company, as well as establishing and operating her own bookkeeping and administrative services company.


Head Office Management Team

Dr Morris Sarabi
Business Development Manager NSW

A qualified dentist with extensive experience in business development, sales, marketing, and process improvement techniques.

Morris’ role is primarily to support all NSW based practices in areas such as patient attraction, expansion of service, procurement efficiencies, marketing implementation, recruitment, education, and training.


Gauri Paranjpe
Management Accountant

Gauri is responsible for assisting the Financial Controller to prepare data for monthly management reports and overseeing the payroll, accounts payable and bank reconciliation functions of the business.

Gauri has more than 15 years of management experience.


Caroline Gunawan
Management Accountant

A qualified CPA with more than fifteen years of experience in audit and industries, Caroline manages accounting and financial functions of Kikada Lane Dental, and prepares monthly management reports and year end statutory accounts.


Deborah Wilkinson
Payroll and Accounts Payable

Deborah is part of the team responsible for the implementation and management of all payroll and accounts payable/receivable activities along with reconciliation services within the business.

Deborah is one of the main points of contact at head office for suppliers and dental practices to ensure payment of invoices and for payroll queries.


Nikolina Burford
Payroll and Accounts Payable

Nikolina is responsible for the management of all payroll, accounts payable/receivable activities along with reconciliation services within the business alongside her team.

Nikolina is one of the main points of contact at head office for suppliers and dental practices to ensure payment of invoices and for payroll queries.

Nikolina has formal qualifications in economics and business and banking finance.


Nicole Ke
Accounts Payable

Nicole has a formal qualification in business (accounting) and recently got her CPA qualification.

She is the first point of contact at head office for suppliers and practices to ensure payment of invoices and all other accounts payable queries.

Nicole is also responsible for the reconciliation services within the business.


Liam Brockett
Marketing Project Coordinator

Liam works to support the Director of Marketing in orchestrating and delivering promotional campaigns, digital communicational platforms, SEO and PPC strategies at both Practice and a Group-wide level.

Liam has formal qualifications in journalism and is adept at constructing and managing all forms of written and digital media.



Clinical Advisory Committee

Kikada Lane Dental will establish a Clinical Advisory Committee to provide advice to the Board on clinical practice, advancements in treatment and technology, training and education and patient growth opportunities.
